Finally someone with PRINCIPLE and COURAGE sees and hears a liar and shouts "You Lie " how positive is that? Here we have a known liar addressing our Congress that contains many , many liars and one brave soul shouts "you lie "and all the other lias what him punished . What has America become when we silence the victim but protect the liar? This "Grand moment " speaks volumes about our corrupt federal Government .This proves we must throw out of our government the cheats , the liars , freedom oppressors from both major parties , beginning with the 2010 election. Why must an American citizen , any citizen , sit in silence while our elected president reads lies from his "lieprompter" and remains free from an honest challenge ? What kind of nation have we become ? Of course obama was lying , he knows it , you know it , and all of the cowardly members of our Congress knew it . We need MILLIONS more like Mr. Joe Wilson to speak out and call them as he see it . When a person lies and lies time and time again , that person is a liar and must be called out.
Is AMERICA worth saving ? Our lying government officials are now so corrupt and brazen they want the honest accuser punished. SHAME on what we have done , look at the person in our highest office , his actions insult our CONSTITUTION! THINK! VOTE PRINCIPLE over Party in 2010.

Finally.....after carrying-on like he was at some town-hall meeting, somewhere?? Yeah....what an original "move".

Well....it appears (after his home-made "shine" wore-off), he called the Whitehouse and begged to be forgiven. How embarrassing it had to have been, for him, that it was some Jewish-dude from whom Wilson begged forgiveness!!!!!!! :D

It was quite the surprising incident, though!!

Typically, clowns, like Wilson, are wearing their Hoods....and, are usually part of a mob....when making such pronunciations.

Of course Mr. Wilson is completely within his Constturional rights to scream "YOU LIE " as he sees and hears a liar lie ! Now that is just morally correct . Maybe we should turn our attention upon the LIAR and seek his apology . Forget asking for his promise to stop lying , anything he said in that regard would be unbelievable! Now that is a SHAME ! But absolutely true!THINK!

During the President's speech on Wednesday, one Republican Congressman, Joe Wilson of South Carolina, actually yelled "You lie." during the speech. It was coarse, rude and totally inappropriate in that setting, but this breed of Republicans seem to have mastered disruptive yelling and he couldn't allow the opportunity to escape without showing his skills. The portion of the speech this Republican called a lie dealt with the false claim spread by Republicans that health care reform would cover illegal aliens. When the President stated that illegal aliens would not be covered, it prompted Rep. Wilson to yell out, "You lie."

Just for the record, independent fact check sites have backed up the President's claim. The portion of the bill dealing with this issue is Sec. 246 in HR 3200. It has the title "NO FEDERAL PAYMENT FOR UNDOCUMENTED ALIENS." If that isn't clear enough, the portion states, "Nothing in this subtitle shall allow federal payments for affordability credits on behalf of individuals who are not lawfully present in the United States." What the Republican Congressman was really upset about was having another Republican lie challenged and publicly debunked.

So it seems your new found hero is not only crude, he's also as dumb as a stump.

From ABC News, George Stephanopoulos ...

"President Obama’s clarity last night probably helped him with the public. His passion likely energized Democrats. But no evidence yet that he changed the fundamental legislative dynamic: Democrats are going to have to pass reform on their own. And they claim at least one immediate political benefit from Congressman Joe Wilson’s outburst: overnight Wilson’s opponent, former Marine Joe Miller, received 3000 individual contributions totaling about $100,000."

Looks like the not so bright Republicans have peed in their own Post Toasties again.

While I do not agree with the manner that Rep. Wilson went about making his point, he does still have a point.

The Congressional Research Service has stated "Under H.R. 3200, a 'Health Insurance Exchange' would begin operation in 2013 and would offer private plans alongside a public option…H.R. 3200 does not contain any restrictions on noncitzens—whether legally or illegally present, or in the United States temporarily or permanently—participating in the Exchange.

CRS also notes that the bill has no provision for requiring those seeking coverage or services to provided proof of citizenship."

So basically, the bill does not cover illegal aliens, but it wants no proof of citizenship before offering treatment. Therefore, if an illegal goes to a hospital and just says "I am a citizen" that is that and they will get treatment.

So based on an abstract scenario, that goes against the real language of the bill, you think Joe Wilson's behavior was acceptable?

You need to find a better argument to weigh in on. This one's a loser for you.

....While you "conservatives" would prefer to see their bodies stacked-like-cordwood, outside all ERs.

I'm fairly-certain that's understood, by most Americans.

Easy, now.

As hard as it might be, to consider, Thanks! ARE required!!!!

"The opponent of GOP Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC), who yelled "You lie!" at President Barack Obama during his speech to Congress on healthcare, has raised more than $96,000 from online donors since Wednesday evening.

ActBlue, a liberal advocacy group, posted an appeal for Wilson opponent Rob Miller, a Democrat. Within hours, online donors flooded the site, leaving the Republican's Democratic opponent flush with new campaign cash overnight."

I saw an analogy today that is akin to this situation.

For example, we say that speeding will not happen under the current legislation. However, in that same bill we take away police radar guns and police cars.

In this bill, an amendment to make people prove citizenship was voted down on party lines. Why?

So. It's ok to heckle our previous president but not our current president?
Shaman, You are so full of s___! it stinks in here.

Dems heckled Bush, but Wilson was different

Joe Wilson's 15 minutes of infamy notwithstanding, Democrats were pretty rough on George W. Bush during a joint sessions a few years back.

Two examples:

In 2004, Democrats delivered a “Chorus Of Boos” during Bush's Bush’s State Of The Union when he called for renewal of the Patriot Act., according to the Washington Times.

In 2005, Dems howled, hissed and shouted "No!" when Bush pushed for Social Security reform in the SOU: "Foreshadowing the contentiousness of the coming debate, Democrats broke decorum and booed twice," according to the National Journal.

At the time, CNN's Bill Schneider remarked, “It was unusual. I had never heard it at least at that level before. The Democrats clearly were booing, heckling, saying no when the president talked about the crisis in Social Security."

Moreover, Obama's claim that illegal immigrants won't be covered -- which sparked Wilson's outburst -- while technically accurate, doesn't quite tell the entire story. Some of the bills being considered in the House and Senate contain provisions locking in local statutes that prevent providers from inquiring about immigration status prior to treatment. And illegals are treated, and are bound to be treated, in ERs, covered by local, state and federal uninsured pools.

So why the outcry over Wilson?

I think it's because Congressional Republicans have used the health care debate to vent a deeper, uglier contempt for Obama that verges on the personal.

They've done little to discourage the party's fringes from questioning Obama's legitimacy to serve through the birther movement, fitness to govern through the death panel canard -- and even the territorial integrity of the US under a Democratic president through Texas Gov. Rick Perry's flirtation with secession.

Anger may stoke the base at town halls -- and goose Glenn Beck -- but it just looks ugly on the national stage.

That logic is absurd. You can extend a what if to any scenario but it doesn't make it an intelligent arguement. For example, having a 20 mph speed limit in a school zone might mean you'd go slow enough to reach an intersection where you might hit a child.

The name of the portion of the bill that deals with illegals is about as clear as it can be. The language is as clear as it can be. However, if some illegal slips through and is able to purchase health insurance, that's cheaper for you and me than covering the cost of an unpaid visit to an emergency room at a hospital.

Let's just deport the illegals and we won't have to worry about them over-whelming our medical system, our court system, or our prison system.

Of course, everyone is going to be up in arms. Well too bad!!!! Come here legally and there won't be any problem.

We are a country based on laws. We should enforce the laws.
