Well here's Bush's walk of shame: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqVhjfZWKkU

Now, there's all this commentary on how it really wasn't a walk of shame and they have footage of all those guys shaking Bush's hand in some photo-op beforehand or after...I forget which.

But you know... those guys when the whole string was walking along were purposefully avoiding shaking his hand in a public venue. They vigorously shook hands and greeted all the other walkers. Not one shook Bush's hand... most wouldn't even look at him.

You can call it what you like. I call it what it was: a snub, plain and evident for your eyes to see. Play it over and over to make sure I'm not making this up!

Anyway, I think it's more than just a reflection of how the world sees Bush and more a reflection of how it sees the GOP in general. I think, and this is just coming from the gut IMHO, that if we had another GOP leadership this time around, in Congress or in the Oval Office, we would be in BIG trouble on a global scale. We now, thanks to Dubya and his BigOil goonsquad, sit at mercy of our enemies and our allies. Our economy is wrecked and we no longer are powerful. Add up how much US Treasury that was wasted on Dubya trying to sieze Iraq for private oil interests in the last 8 years and then figure out for yourself what "went wrong" with our economy.

I love Sarah Palin's little mantra: "I don't have a rear view mirror: I only look forward."

Yeah, "forward" to blaming a ruined nation (and world economy that depends on it) on the democratic administration that came to the rescue and tried to save the situation....

That video was absolutely amazing. Only 2 out of the 7 even made eye contact with Bush.

I nominate Sarah Palin and any other GOP schmuck who touts the "I don't have a rear view mirror" bullcrap to head that FAA team that goes back and tries to find the cause of the plane wrecks so as to better engineer new ones in the future, among also finding reasons to hold people accountable.

Makes as much sense as anything else. That way we could get a "fair and balanced" assessment of what went wrong and who's to blame. I know, Fox news could air the findings..

It's like the GOP crumbing thread...:p

When the stark facts of reality come that even the highest-ranking GOP spindoctors cannot twist, the policy is "hands off...let the thread disappear"...

Remember, they don't like rear view mirrors! .lol...:p and youtube videos showing what the world really thinks of their amoral political agendas..

what you expect the repubs here to actually have anything to say? I mean its clear how far ours standing int he world has crumbled in the last 7 years, and how little regard most leaders have for Bush. The Republicans treated him like he was infected with Ebola all Election, why should the world who never claimed to like him be any nicer? Funny because all those republicans cheered for him voted for him, reelected him, attacked the left for attacking him, and then ran against him as well .

It was never about if Bush was right or wrong, a good idea or bad, good for the US or not...it was always all about the party.

Yes, all about the party and the honor of thieves...

The Australia Prime Minister Kevin Rudd is said to have an icy reception from Bush because he said that Bush did not know what the G20 was in a private conversation.

Bush's website even left Rudd out of people shaking hands. When the Media pointed this out his photo was added.

Rudd like most overseas leaders would prefer to speak to obama than lame duck Bush.

You guys sound like junior highschoolers. You make it sound like a popularity contest.

Why would you care? I don't. Just as I could care less about al-Qaeda calling obama a house negro. They don't like him. So what???

You mean the youtube link where major world leaders wouldn't even look at Bush in a lineup of other people they nearly shook the hands off of?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqVhjfZWKkU

Here it is again. Wouldn't want the boot of a new page to lose the main theme of the thread, now would we? ;)

with any luck major world leaders will learn to worship obama like his followers do. then we can be a really extra special country :)

I watched it three times, at no point did he put his hand out to try and shake their hand and he did not do anything to make eye contact with any of them except for the one man that came before the old haggy female. You could just as easily explain the link as bush refuses to shake anyones hands.

I dont know who the other "world leaders" were but its my guess they are a bunch of socialists and I wouldnt want to shake their hand either :)

you guys really do crack me up. Unite our Nation is right, you are all acting like school kids but I would say middle schoolers not high schoolers.

What do you expect from these libs?.. The left`s ideas these days are all about being
politically correct which is flushing our country down the political toilet. I have got to
get used to this ignorance they present. They love to go on and on, with their idiotic
views. Hell you libs are still slamming Palin. Why? because she will be a Huge threat in four years.. Why don`t you just enjoy your win for now. In four years, we`ll fix it again.
