OK Folks, throughout debate on this site, I see criticism here on HOP complaining about the viability of various media sources. So, I ask you, who is the most credible media source in your mind?
"media source" of what?
Agreed. I typically research stuff on my own, getting from a variety of sources.
I also typically avoid mass media sources. They have proven to me to be not very credible for any information. The worst being 30 second news reports on TV. Just awful inaccurate reporting on so many issues, it's pathetic.
I agree with the first part, but think that if you watch both CNN and FOX, you can get a pretty good idea of what is really going on. Then, if you learn to surf the internet and separate fact from fiction, that will help, too.
CNN is so biased, it's not even a joke anymore. Remember the "undecided" voter plants at the Democratic national debate? Or how about Soledad telling Ron Pual that everyone called him a flake? Or how about them calling the VP debate for Biden, when there were more voting for Palin? Or when they asked Palin about someone at the national review, saying they couldn't tell if "she was dumb, stupid, incompetent or corrupt and backwards", when in fact it wasn't posted to the National Review yet, and was about bias media coverage of Palin, not actually about her. (talk about ironic)
Let's not forget those super tough questions CNN asked Obama like...
"Do you feel you messed up in letting it get this far?" referring to Tom Dashel
“Do you feel you have lost some of that moral high ground which you set for yourself on day one with the ethics reform?”
“On executive compensation... ...your tough talk may be just for show. What can you really do?”
And my personal favorite...
“But this is what American people are hearing about, whether rightly or wrongly. And, I mean, did the -- did the Republicans beat you on selling this, on selling the message? Did you lose the message?”
Rightly or wrongly? How can you hear of $120 Million dollars earmarked for "honey bee insurance"... 'wrongly'? And all he can ask is... "did you lose the message?"
I don't know about Fox News because I have never gotten Fox News, but CNN is so far off the scale left, that it's just a pathetic joke for anyone not to see it unless they are way over in fruity conspiracy world.

In the days since the most expensive Inaugural in history, the “rivals” have delivered a performance more akin to that of venal, self-serving, steroid-popping Major League Baseball players. Their promise to “focus like a laser” on the economy has produced “stimulus legislation” that even Senator Charles Schumer describes as “porky.” The “bank bailout” briefing proffered this week by tax-dodging Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner was so confusing and short on details that the stock market tanked - again. That’s only what the so-called mainstream media deemed worthy of coverage or comment.
People have been speculating all week about how the economic spendulus bill will affect our financial markets. It certainly will, but the real tell-tale sign is what Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner’s plans are to dethaw our troubled credit markets, the crux of our crisis. We need action from his department to get banks to write off bad debts, creditors to pay off bad debts, and we need banks to start lending again while the aforementioned are happeneing. So far, no sensible solutions have emerged from Team Obama.
Well, maybe Anne Coulter.

In purporting to "take a look back" at how the economic recovery plan "grew, and grew, and grew," Fox News' Jon Scott referenced seven dates, as on-screen graphics cited various news sources from those time periods -- all of which came directly from a Senate Republican Communications Center press release. A Fox News on-screen graphic even reproduced a typo contained in the Republican press release.
Faux News is by far the worst..nothing but a Republican propaganda arm
Check this out..
Fox passes off GOP press release as its own research -- typo and all
How embarrassing for those that watch and defend Faux News....you've been had!
