He was referring to Newt's speakership days. Apparently this doofus is unaware that demonization is a practice invented by the Left and first utilized in America way back to the Nixon and Whitaker Chambers days when they did the unforgivable thing of exposing the commie left (as I outlined in another thread). So looks like Perry and Bachmann are considering dropping out. Huntsman put all his eggs in the NH basket so he'll hang in til then. Noot is in fuzzy territory, he needs a stronger show in NH to justify hanging in. Santorum has not been strong in NH and as the WSJ points out will have to make a major expansion in his message to get any benefit of momentum.

With six days to work it looks like a rockum sockum week or perhaps just the glacial Romney campaign (slow but overwhelming) edging toward the inevitable.

Just for the sake of comparison...

In 2008, Hillary Clinton -- who was widely considered to be a major player and contender for President (and was a contender) got 29% of the vote in a 6 way race in Iowa.

In 2012, Mitt Romney got 25% of the vote in a 9 way race.

You can insinuate that this is a bad showing, but it is not.
