You guys are like a circus. It's just one big "Dog & Pony Show" after another. That's why you're getting your pants beat off.

The American people want someone with some smarts and a calm rational head on their shoulders to help dig us out of this Republican Bush/McCain economic disaster.

I mean I understand you know it's over but at least fake trying to act like you know what's going on. Maybe fake suspend your campaign again and buy a couple more houses or buy some more $600 Ferragamo loafers... something... I mean it's country first for Christ sake!:D

    Resolved Question
Why do 80% of professional economists say Obama has the better economic policy?

Eighty per cent of respondents and no fewer than 71% of those who do not cleave to either main party say Mr Obama has a better grasp of economics. Even among Republicans Mr Obama has the edge: 46% versus 23% say Mr Obama has the better grasp of the subject. “I take McCain’s word on this one,” comments James Harrigan at the University of Virginia, a reference to Mr McCain’s infamous confession that he does not know as much about economics as he should. In fairness, Mr McCain’s lower grade may in part reflect greater candour about his weaknesses. Mr Obama’s more tightly managed image leaves fewer opportunities for such unvarnished introspection.

A candidate’s economic expertise may matter rather less if he surrounds himself with clever advisers. Unfortunately for Mr McCain, 81% of all respondents reckon Mr Obama is more likely to do that; among unaffiliated respondents, 71% say so. That is despite praise across party lines for the excellent Doug Holtz-Eakin, Mr McCain’s most prominent economic adviser and a former head of the Congressional Budget Office. “Although I have tended to vote Republican,” one reply says, “the Democrats have a deep pool of talented, moderate economists.”

Where the candidates’ positions are more clearly articulated, Mr Obama scores better on nearly every issue: promoting fiscal discipline, energy policy, reducing the number of people without health insurance, controlling health-care costs, reforming financial regulation and boosting long-run economic growth. Twice as many economists think Mr McCain’s plan would be bad or very bad for long-run growth as Mr Obama’s. Given how much focus Mr McCain has put on his plan’s benefits for growth, this last is quite a repudiation.

    Economists: Obama's Economic Policy Better
The Economist: Among those who study economics for a living, Barack Obama's lead is much more commanding. A survey of academic economists by The Economist finds the majority believe Obama has the superior economic plan, a firmer grasp of economics and will appoint better economic advisers.

Economists Believe Obama Has Better Economic Plan
    by Charlie Wood on 10/05/2008
"A survey of academic economists by The Economist finds the majority—at times by overwhelming margins—believe Mr Obama has the superior economic plan, a firmer grasp of economics and will appoint better economic advisers."

This might work out like Susan McDougal - one of Bubba Clinton's sleezebag friends who preferred to rot in jail rather than tell what she knew about Clinton's illegal activities. Although Rezco, like most of Obama's friends is a REAL scumbag and might blow the whistle on Obama to save his own hide.

As for the crapola about lib economists saying Obama has a good economic plan - RAISING TAXES as we head into a recession by $2 trillion to pay for his boondoggles is a good economic plan???? :p

Well here we have a situation where your last paragraph is the deepest thought given to everything you said.

Since top economists are just mindless Liberals then maybe you can see the American people on the McSame plan. At least it's familiar.

Here's that proven recipe if anybody wants to write it down:

First take the Bush economic plan for the past eight years.

Then add more tax breaks for those making over $250,000 per year and the Biggest Corporations like Big Oil.

Then escalate conflicts all over the world with Grampy's "You kids get off my lawn!" shoot first ask questions later international diplomacy.

Then slash spending here at home mostly by privatizing Social Security and forcing the elderly to invest on their own their life savings in that wonderfully rock solid stock market.

Then TAX employer provide heath care.

Sounds good. Hard Right Republicans should line right up for it. doesn't have a chance in hell with the other 73% of people but at least 27% of the voting public can vote for that plan with you & McSame.

What's with the silly-ass colored posts - you gay or something? :D

Anyway, your's is just Top Grin drivel post #10,987. You are using argumentum ad authoritatem (look up what that means :D) since you are devoid of the intellect to debate economic issues. NO economist, even the keynsians, would raise taxes when the economy is inching toward recession. Yesss yesss OF COURSE the economists, 90% liberal academics, are going to shill for Obama to get him elected.

He, like all the Dems is in total denial about all of this. They simply cannot, and will not, acknowledge the fact that it was the Dems that created this mess.

Look sonny quit eating to Cheetos in your mommies basement for a minute and just embrace the fact that it's you who has the serious Larry Craig tendencies... and no I don't want to go to the mens room with you!:D

The fact is the top economists just like Senator Obama's plan much better. What you're to child like to understand is that John McSame's HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS more that he wants to give in tax breaks to Big Oil and those already making a quarter of a million or more per year is seen by top economists as MUCH WORSE than helping the middle class as Senator Obama will do.

And just look at these poll numbers! Gotta love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's over dude go back to popping zits. You're better at that anyway.:)

My friend you've lost. Everybody looks into what the neo-cons say now and for lack of a better analogy... YOU'RE JUST PLAYED OUT!:)

You DEREGULATORS and BUSH/MCCAIN trickle downers are just weak. I mean seriously the only thing left you have to loose is your self respect and you're going out in a way that will forever be remembered as the worst losers of all times.

I know it may not seem all that important right now because you're gonna flail around until the 4th and that's fine... but this is seriously going to cost you even future elections because you guys look terribly mean spirited, confused & erratic and even not all that intelligent.

Save some bit of pride and act with at least some decorum and dignity.;)

First off, I'm not your "friend", and secondly, I'm not a "neo" anything, I'm a Paleo-con, in the mode of Thomas Jefferson, Patrick Henry, and Richard Henry Lee. I consider you, and all of those like you to be the "domestic enemies" I swore to defend this nation against, and believe you me, if it gets half as ugly as I and a lot of others fear it could get, it won't bother me in the least to deliver unto you that which you justly deserve.

Thirdly, the only people who are denying that the current financial mess rests solely on the shoulders of the Democrats are the ones that stand a chance of doing a perp walk over it, and their sycophants. The proof is there, for everyone to see, you simply choose to look the other way. Well it's too late for that, you Democrats are Dorian Gray, and everyone has seen your painting.
