....in spite of the anti-american officiating that has plagued this olympics. US and russia were 13-12 US in the tie breaker set, when a russian player got away with blatantly pushing the ball - it was in plain view and everyone in the arena would have seen it - not a peep from the officials. The american players and the NBC expert commentator were stunned. But then the US won anyway 15 -14. Now they play in the gold medal match.
