So the first games over which disappointingly is a draw RSA 1 Mexico 1 - I wanted Mexico to win but ...... At least The friggin Saffas didn't win!
Paraguay are playing this evening which is going to be a real challenge as I'm pretty well pissed at the moment and I'm supposed to have mates round later for the game - translations required I think pissed means a tad angry for you yanks? Whereas for us it's DUI! AnywAy having had a very strenuous afternoon in my other office with 9 pints of Best and something called Chrystal Brooke? Now I thought she was an Amrrican lesbian porn ster but it transpires it's actually a rather buxom New Zealand Shiraz!
Anyway I'm looking forward to the game this evening which as Pocket quite rightly observed no one else on this site will have clue about...... so what I can say is that the game tomorrow will be England 2 USA 0 or put another way

I know enough about Socer "futbol" to know that man U sucks balls..go Ireland!....but also know that Ireland will not be winning ...
Only world sport I can pay attention to, is Hockey...( ok northern world lol..but I am from MN...land of well a large part of what ever US hockey team we send each time lol)

A tie? Why didn't they just have a shootout or something? There is no room for ties, we need someone to be the winner and someone to be the loser!

That's a pretty good bet. Soccer is not one of the favorites in the USA, but I'm not sure just why.
The US team tied with England, which was quite an upset. Did anyone see Leno making jokes about the US team before the game?
Wouldn't it be a hoot if the US team were to win the world cup? It would be like a French team winning the Super Bowl. It might even make soccer popular here.
