The problem in Cuba is corruption and incompetence. The same is true of Venezuela. After all, China has an authoritarian Communist regime and has been very successful economically. China simply has much less corruption and more competent management.

I don't blame Cubans and Venezuelans for wanting to leave Cuba and Venezuela.

Democrats have a long history of hateful racism against conservative Cuban immigrants as was evidenced by Clinton's seizure of a little boy by armed police and deported to Cuba in spite of having survived the harrowing journey withy two others (his mother drowned) to escape the brutal clutches of Cuban communists.

And arabs living in Israel, have more rights than they would have living in their respective countries.

Elian Gonzalez was sent back to live with his father rather than given to some distant relatives because that is what the law said must be done. And he is better off in Cuba than he would have been in the US. He came here undocumented, just like all those people at the border that Trump has said he thinks ought to be shot.
