Leave New York while you are still alive

Recently NYC's mayor took 1 billion dollars from the police force and put it into what is effectively welfare. So criminals may actually collect some of this money while having less risk of getting caught robbing or raping or mugging or vandalizing.
An exodus from California and Seattle has already started, as least partly due to police cutbacks, and this exodus is expected to pick up steam in the future.
Out of the 20 most violent cities in the US, 17 are run by Democrats, 2 by independents and 1 by a Republican.
If you live in a large city run by Democrats I suggest you leave. Find a smaller town in a red state. You and your family will be safer there. The cost of living will likely be less, taxes may be lower and your business may be much less likely to have the front window broken and to be looted.
Chicagoans, Los Angelinos, Seattlers, Bostonians, Baltimorians, San Franners, Detroiters listen up. Smaller towns with conservative leaders will keep you much safer.
Democrats will let crime kill you.

Bigger cities tend to be run by Democrats.
Bigger cities tend to have more crime than smaller ones.

Since crime seems to follow Democrat leadership in a great deal of the country maybe the Dems should change their name to DEMOCRIME party.

You obviously didnt get my point.

Small rural citiy: less crime.
Big city: more crime (isnt it obvious why?)

Small rural citiy: often led by Republicans.
Big city: often led by Democrats.

You really cant reason that a city has more crime because of the Democrats but you can reason that in a bigger city it is easier to hide for a criminal (just an example, of course its more complex).

Another good name change for the Dems is DEATHOCRAT. There are more Black babies slaughtered in the womb in NY than are born.
Crime and death follow Dem leadership.

It looks like more than a few NYers read my post and agree with me. People are packing up and leaving in droves. Connecticut has already picked up many NY residents. So has Florida. Predictions have been made that as many as 2,000,000 may relocate.
So what does this exodus do to the tax base? And what does the exodus do to property values and rents?
As people leave and businesses lose customers they also leave.
Part of this revolution is caused by many businesses adopting work at home rules. My daughter works at home.
I have heard home values in San Fran are on the skids. And Los Angelinos may have shorter traffic jams but also less water.
And Seattle leadership is a joke of the first order. Chaz zone was all peace and love and a summer picnic until bodies started being carried out in bags. Anyone with half a brain could have told you that would happen but the Democrat mayor may not have half a brain.
It will be interesting to follow this exodus over the rest of this year. My prediction is that large cities, which are hurting now, will hurt even more as their citizens move to the suburbs and out of state.
And tax revenues tank and crime goes thru the roof.

So what is happening with crime in NYC since the Democrime mayor cut back on police and drastically reduced their budget?
Shootings have SOARED. How can this be a surprise to anyone with half a brain? The number of citizens shot in 2020 has now surpassed the total shootings for 2019. And it is only very early in August. And the rate may be increasing so the NYC scorecard for 2020 may be double that of 2019.

Kissing up to anarchists and rioters and arsonists and looters is really paying off big time.

Even the most rich, elites in NYC are no longer safe from crime. In the area known as the lower east side, armed robbery has soared by 350%. These residents are the wealthiest of the wealthy and even they are no longer safe in DeBlasio's extremely limited police force. If enough of these wealthy elite pack up and move there will be greatly reduced tax revenue.
These Democrime mayors are cutting their own throats as well as abandoning those they are sworn to serve.
DB, it would serve you right if a bunch of the lower east side decided to move. DB, you are holding a knife to your own throat. You should wake up before it's too late and you cut your own throat.

budget 2020: $6 billion
budget 2021: $5 billion (some cuts, some reallocations to other departments)

Andy C of NY State has now taken to begging people to stay. Many of the wealthiest state residents have packed their bags and moved on. The problem this presents for Andy C and DB is a shrinking tax base. The Dems have been buying votes since LBJ's Great Society. And they tax the very wealthy the hardest. And it is these wealthy that are moving out of state. So what does Andy C do? He begs.

He and his buddy in crime DB may just be begging for jobs after the next election.

The latest crime statistics for NYC show the outstanding job mayor DB is doing running taxpayers off.
Comparing July 2019 with July 2020, murder is up by +59% and shootings an absolutely incredible +177%. The number of honest tax paying citizens of NYC that are shot by criminals has almost tripled under DB.
When Guiliani was mayor he dropped crime to historically low levels. And now DB has turned that completely around by turning the city over to criminals.
And he has effectively eliminated bail so if you kill your neighbor you won't be in jail more than overnight.
Way to go, DB. Way to go !!!
Follow the Democrime playbook and the exodus from NYC will continue and your tax dollars will begin to dry up and the graveyards will fill up.

The exodus from NYC continues in the business world.
The Manhattan Victoria's Secret has left. And, believe it or not, their rent is reported to be over $900,000 a month. They haven't paid this rent in a few months.
A Gap store left and their rent is reported at $246,000 a month. And a bunch of restaurants have left. The highest grossing restaurant in the city is gone.
Many landlords are highly leveraged with debt. So what does it do to the building owner when a store does not pay $900,000 + rent every month?. It means the owner can't pay his mortgage and eventually may lose the property to foreclosure.
And NYC has lost a tax paying business, a lot of employment, tax revenue from rents and now a fancy store front is boarded up.
Real estate rental prices in NYC are astronomical. And so is the price of a building.
I used to work for a national company with a field office in NYC. Their pay was 25% more than their pay in Florida. But it costs 5 or 6 times as much to rent an apartment in NYC as it does.in FL. So I was way better off in FL than the NYCers were.
To residents of NYC I would suggest you look around for s much smaller city to live in with more conservative leadership. You may earn a little less but your spendable income will be greater and you probably won't have rioters and looters and anarchists and rapists and shooters to contend with every night.
