Eisenhower left office over 73 years ago. Yeah, it was dumb and made no sense to add the words "under God" to the Pledge of Allegiance, because if God exists, then we are under him, and if he does not exist, adding those words will not cause him to magically materialize, and it wasn't even Eisenhower's idea.
