Yeah, Adam & Eve were entirely convinced by a talking reptile that "God', because he knows everything, knew before he created Adam, Eve and the talking snake EXACTLY what was going to happen.

If the Devil exists, it is because "God" created him, knowing what he would do.

You have to have really poor reasoning skills to believe this illogical nonsense!

The fact that you don't understand God and question His wisdom and goodness proves you don't know Him.

What is the "truth" about Jesus?
He said that he would return before the last of a group he was addressing had died.

But this did not happen, Jesus did not return. He is still being expected to come at any moment, but nearly 2000 years has passed and still no Jesus.

Jesus' main message was that the world in which he lived was sinful an corrupt, and that VERY SOON, all would be swept away and God would come to Earth and bring a new age. This was also the main message that Paul preached. But of course this never happened.

2 Peter 3:3-5

3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
 
Any "last days" mentioned in the Bible have already come and gone. The Earth has never been "standing in water", not ever.

The Messiah mentioned in the Old Testament was NOT said to be the "son of God", but a reincarnation of King David, a military leader that would physically expand the state of Israel. (NOT the state of Judea: the real state of Israel was ended by the Babylonians, its people taken off to Mesopotamia.

The Book of Gayesis

God created Steve after Adam and Eve. Adam became Steve's fudgepacker, which made horny Eve jealous. She began seeing phallic images everywhere, even a talking-snake one. God gave her an aphrodisiac because He was a homophobic bigot! Since Adam was, unfortunately still bi, he got seduced by Eve again, but he tried switching back and forth. That's why the homophobic God kicked all three out of Paradise.
