...of The War of Northern Aggression is today.

The bravery and sacrifice by Americans on both sides is truly amazing and admirable. May God bless all those who fought that terrible war.

What is not admirable are the actions of President Lincoln and fortunately the myths surrounding him are unraveling. He is not a president to be revered, but should be reviled. He caused tremendous death, suffering, and destruction all to impose a tariff.

My father, who was a Civil War buff, took our family to visit all the major battlefields...some more than once to the chagrin of my sisters. But, I greatly enjoyed it and learned to love history at a young age, by experiencing it second hand.
