You are in the right place at the right time. The Dakotas are booming--and it will take awhile for the place to get too crowded.Lake property--nothing could be better. Just be sure your don't build on a flood plain! I was up there in the winter once--outside at night in January--on an AF base.OMG--was it cold. Wind--well, pretty damn brutal.But--Michigan is not bad training for that. It can get pretty cold up there in the U.P.
