Wow, talk about politics making strange bedfellows!Good article over all. The "tea party" is not a particular political philosophy, but a general reaction to the breakdown of government in Washington. The Congress of the US has had approval ratings, where? In the teens or lower, I think, for some time now. It is appropriate that people are beginning to get involved and show dissatisfaction with government. Marriage of libertarians and social conservatives tells it all. There is a highly diverse group who don't like the way the country is going, and don't buy in to the my party right or wrong philosophy. Good for them.
