A wasteland of rubble, dust and graves: how Gaza looks from the sky

One day, probably far in the future, those who support the modern version of the SS will realise the huge moral mistake they have made...

Seen from the air, Gaza looks like the ruins of an ancient civilisation, brought to light after centuries of darkness. A patchwork of concrete shapes and shattered walls, neighbourhoods scattered with craters, rubble and roads that lead nowhere. The remnants of cities wiped out.

But here, there has been no natural disaster and no slow passage of time.

Gaza was a bustling, living place until less than two years ago, for all the challenges its residents endured even then. Its markets were crowded, its streets were full of children. That Gaza is gone – not buried under volcanic ash, not erased by history, but razed by an Israeli military campaign that has left behind a place that looks like the aftermath of an apocalypse.

Germany was in ruins after being bombed to devastation because of Hitler and Gaza is being torn to shreds because of Hamas.

Hundreds of leftist Jews protest against Gaza war in New York; 41 arrested

‘Jews say no more’: Demonstration near Trump hotel demands US pressure Israel to halt conflict

NEW YORK — Several hundred protesters led by leftish Jewish groups gathered in New York City on Monday to demand an end to the war in Gaza.

The protesters carried signs that said, “Stop ethnic cleansing,” “Never again is now,” and “Stop starvation.”

New York City Comptroller Brad Lander, the city’s highest-ranking Jewish elected official, led the crowd in chants of “No more.”

Yesterday on Tisha B’av, we mourned a destruction that happened to the people of Israel. Today we mourn a destruction being caused by the State of Israel, and we say no more,” Lander said. “We gather at a moment of profound crisis. Palestinians in Gaza are enduring a catastrophic rolling destruction that is happening in our name and we say no more.”

Lander describes himself as a progressive Zionist. He partnered with Zohran Mamdani, a harsh Israel critic, during Mamdani’s campaign for the Democratic Party mayoral primary, which Mamdani won last month.

Mobs protested US fighting in WW2 also but there was and is no reason to put too much value on misguided mob opinions.

What Israel is doing in Gaza is criminal and genocidal. Our country should cut off a aid to Israel immediately.

Hanoi Jane: Stop US aid to the freedom-loving people of South Vietnam and increase support for communist North Vietnam.
The US had NO HOPE of ever winning in Vietnam, and should left it totally alone.
The people of South Vietnam were no more freedom-loving than the people of North Vietnam.

Thank God those lefties are not now in power in the US who believe there is and always was no difference between the freedom-loving people of South Vietnam and the commies of North Vietnam.
