I see you read the whole article too. There is too much of a tendency to simply read misleading headlines and assume an out of context conclusion and then mock the entire research.

You are right; the authors stressed a correlation not a causation, yet causation is the implication of the headline and then it becomes a "truth" that is passed to everyone and blamed on liberals.
