We invented some things. Thats all I can think, although they are nice things
. Financial aid that helped the resident capitalists of said nations, instead of the people of said nations. That is nothing but a false and inperialistic, leeching, power-hungry act. Freedom's sake? This country would and does replace democratic governments with military dictatorships to defend its corporate interests. Like when it overthrew the democratic Chilean government and replaced it with one of the most brutal dictatorships ever to exist, whose influence has only recently been shaken off, all because the president nationalised copper mines. Or when, in the 50's in Iran, when the people threw out the Shah, America forcibly brought back the Monarchy to defend its corporate interests.

Agreed. I noticed the news spinning over and over the one line about the world should not expect us to solve problems alone. It was the only thing that remotely sounded like something good to say about our great country.
Increasingly, America is showing less support and less tolerance for this pompous little king-thing. But what is there is exactly blind, either politics, race or class-envy. Imbeciles bashing our businesses and not realizing that they're trading one form of economic structure for another, only the "follow the money" adage will be increasingly difficult to do.
