What do you think the ten most important accomplishments of the USA are?

I have my own ideas, of course, but would like to hear what you have to say first.

Werbung:
The Constitution
Invention of the Colt 45 used in the old west
Invention of the Automoble
Invention of an Hot Dog
Invention of an Airplane
Invention of the Nuclear Bomb
Broke the sound barrier
Rock N Roll
Televison
The Internet

A decent form of representative government and led the way to the end of monarchies, in many civilized countries.

And, of course, Basketball.

frankfruters ? try frankfort germany

Pretty much a form of sausage, really, which goes way, way back.
Even mustard on it goes way back.

Now, the hot dog--with weenie, mustard and bun--is All-American.
And selling them at stadiums.
With a mobile vendor.

Placing sauerkraut on them is an East Coast aberration.
Chili--is the answer. :p

You can keep your nasty German saurkraut. I'll take good old southwest USA (Mexican?) chile any time.
You can even leave out the hot dog and substitute a good American tamale.

And let's keep one thing in mind--CHILI--does NOT have beans in it.
You can concoct Chili with beans, that's fine--but Chili for hot dogs should never have beans.

Some German sausages, might be cooked with sauerkraut--and that's ok.
Just--no bun, please.
And a nice Eastern European mustard--they are the mustard kings.

Of course. Any chili lover knows that.
