The USA also produces about 30% of the worlds pollution.If you define standard of living on a spiritual and emotional level, then the USA is a very poor nation indeed - perhaps amongst the poorest in the world.I assume that when you say STANDARD of LIVING, you mean levels based on materialistic and consumption intensities?Yeah, well then the USA has a very high standard of living based on those criterias (although the distribution within the US population is not that equal is it - The USA has one of the largest proportions of its population living under the poverty line - WELL DONE on that score - I hope they are getting looked after when they get sick . Your health system is an exclusive system isnt it! - exclusive to those who can pay - so much for the American Dream hey)
