Climate change is political, corruption is affecting media, and greenhouse gasses are rising, in atmospheric concentration, many times faster, than any other time, in geologic history.
CO2 is the main CLIMATE FORCER. Politicians are controverting this fact, with all human complicity, in all of setting anything flammable on fire, burning sequestered CO2 fuels, avoiding cyclic CO2 fuels and all biomass applications, and clear-cutting and polluting forests, to maximize CO2 emissions AND natural out-gassing, while harming CO2 exchange and respiration, to also cause out-gassing of CH4, NO2, SO2, and industrial GHGs, which didn't even exist, before the 20th Century.
All kinds of crooks are getting in the way, of general admission of cumulative human complicity, in the rapid rise, of CO2, from its usual Pleistocene or Holocene maximum, of 280 ppm, all the way to 400 ppm, where it is today, headed for way over 1000 ppm, in a hurry, which hurrying will kill most animal species, a lot of flora, and a lot of families, in the course, of Mass Extinction Event 6, already underway.
Solar intensity is relatively low, and a lot of ice has been melting, so the Earth should be kinda cool. Some places ARE cool. But high temp records went from 2-1, over low temp records, in 2010, to 3-1, in 2012. Get a CLUE. The greenhouse effect is at play, here. And we are only in Phase I, of runaway global warming. Politicians are distorting all aspects of warming and extinction and relief and remedies. Be aware!
Our problems ARE political, since corn and prison cartels are subsidized, including with a drug war, which put HEMP as a Schedule I CS. Crack, crank, smack, and George Zimmerman's Adderall are Schedule II CS. GET A CLUE, finally. The drug war and Prohibition were always about making resources, into contraband. When a new hemp processor was invented, in the 1930s, FDR and the Democrats sold out, to W.R. Hearst, Andrew Mellon, timber, and oil interests, to pass and sign the Hemp Stamp Tax Act, of 1938, to thwart CO2-neutral biomass, for fuels, food, paper, cloth, building materials, and plastic, then and since.
Those Koch Bros. own corporations, which funded Heartland Corp., which is fluffing all the idiots, at forums and other media, which claim AGW isn't happening. Meanwhile, most media suppresses how runaway global warming is playing out, and how EVERY TIME ATMOSPHERIC CO2 RISES PARTLY AS FAST AS IT IS RISING, TODAY, ONE OF FIVE MASS EXTINCTION EVENTS WAS THE RESULT.
But then, Charles Koch partly funded a recent study, wherein Dr.Richard Muller of CAL endorsed a Robert Rhode interpretation, of data, which Muller claims has removed his media skepticism, against anthropogenic global warming, so NOW, Muller claims global warming is human caused, back to the 1700s.
Dr.Muller now admits, to AGW, back to the 1700s, but he got on Democracy NOW!, to deny climate change is the result, and he never even mentioned Mass Extinction Event 6, which we are well into, already. He advocated natural gas, which is like letting meth dealers into a bath-house, with free needles, like their crank is so special, HIV won't get around.
Tell you what. The Kochs and their oil companies want to FRACK. They can force homeowners off their land and grab property, while 5% of wells leak, right away, and 50% of wells leak, during their operating lifetime.
Guys like President Obamney and Al Gore aren't helping, by failing to advocate legal pot OR industrial hemp, at any time, during their political careers, but they sure do poke at M.E.E.6 and runaway global warming, with carbon credits, which is like playing with coupons, to an HIV-infested pest-hole, of a gay bath-house, WHICH NEEDED TO BE CLOSED, YESTERDAY.
Pay attention, politicians! We are into Phase I of runaway global warming and phase 2, of human-caused Mass Extinction Event 6.
M.E.E.6 is phasic, before agriculture and after agriculture, since humans are a migratory invasive species, which introduce other invasive species, causing extinctions AND global warming, while denying the problems exist.
Runaway Global Warming will approach, in three phases:
Phase I: AGW is evident, since the 1700s. GHGs are rising, in concentration. Some warming is evident, with a lot of failure, of glaciers, and the degeneration of perennial Arctic ice and permafrost. Oceanic acidification and climate change are evident. Die offs are making the news, and the extinction rate is estimated, at 100 x normal. The northern ice cap is melting, faster, every year, and the northern hemisphere is heating up, faster than is the southern hemisphere, which is a clue, to Phase II. High temp records begin to out-number low temp records, 2-1, then 3-1, in just two years, 2010 to 2012.
Phase II: The northern ice cap melts, completely, one summer, and then it melts, completely, every summer, so more solar energy is absorbed, every northern summer. Warming and melt of Greenland and East Antarctic sheet ice accelerate, with acidification, of water. Jellyfish and algae take over the oceans. High temp records out-number low temp records, 20-1, then 50-1, and more.
Phase III: No perennial ice remains, anywhere on Earth. Temperatures average at least 22 C, with a lot of spikes. Sea level is 70 m above Phase I levels. Heavy lunar tides roll around, on plates, faults, and magma chambers. Seismic and volcanic events wreck the remaining human habitat. NO2 and SO2 join more CO2. The planet can't clear GHGs, for several hundred thousand years, after the likely die-off, of humans.

This should keep us all busy, for awhile.
When new peer-reviewed studies, leading to M.E.E.6 are published, skepticalscience.com will be a likely address, to find them, in pdf, or to find a relevant article. When politics have settled, enough, we will ALL know, how we need CO2-neutral biomass, and we need to re-green deserts and polluted areas, or humans will probably die out. For biomass, we need HEMP, ALGAE, and SWITCHGRASS.
Hemp is very political. But that is what happens, when people let tyranny sell itself out, to call itself "representative." Politics is distorted. What we really have is corporate fascism, with a vast tyranny cartel, sitting on an inflated bubble economy, covered by polluted dirt.
