They Fired an all American Soldier. They have no respect for the Marines!!!

Geico FIRED ME for Bashing Barack

Ever wonder why R. Lee Ermey only did one hysterical commericla for Geico? The "Full Metal Jacket" star says the insurance giant gave him a pink slip because of his political beliefs.

Ermey famously bashed President Barack Obama in December 2010, saying his administration was trying to "impose socialism" on the American people and was "destroying the country."

He apologized at the time for those comments, but the other day he told our photog that Geico fired him over the incident. He explained, "If you're a conservative in this town, you better watch out."

If i had Geico insurance id give them a call and say i like to cancell my coverage. If they ask me why ill say you have no respect for our men and women who are fighting for our country. Now what if Jay Leno was on Geico and he bashed Reagan you think thery fire him? NO WAY!!!

I'm sure there will be some blow-back. Watch their stock prices. It's a derivative of Berkshire Hathaway.

:ROFLMAO: Steve, whatever you do . . . don't apply for unemployment, welfare or food stamps.

Wouldn't want you to start voting Democrat, after all.

Too late on all counts...

Steve seems to be here to bash Conservatives by pretending to be one - Just like the fake "Republicans" Obama uses in his recent ad campaign.

Think of the Leftist stereotype of a Conservative, racist, sexist, bigot, homophobe, Tea Party supporter etc. Then read Steve's posts... Then learn a new term: Strawman Sock Puppet:
A strawman sockpuppet is a false flag pseudonym created to make a particular point of view look foolish or unwholesome in order to generate negative sentiment against it. Strawman sockpuppets typically behave in an unintelligent, uninformed, or bigoted manner and advance "straw man" arguments that their puppeteers can easily refute. The intended effect is to discredit more rational arguments made in behalf of the same position. Sometimes, the demarcation line between strawman sockpuppets and trolls may be fine or indistinguishable.
Sound like anyone we know?

Im a Tea Party voter. I believe in our founding fathers and our consitution.
Sure you are...

It's too bad the social groups are gone, I have quotes of you saying that Communism is better than Capitalism, that you should be given everything you want/need - house, education, job, healthcare, food, transportation, leisure time - and that "rich" people should have to pay for all of it.

So when you say you believe in the founding fathers, I can't help but think you're talking about Marx and Engels, and when you say you believe in the Constitution, I can't help but think you're talking about the Soviet Constitution that promised all the things you say it is your "right" to have given to you at the expense of others.

Well im gonna tell you this,,If Mitt wins America wiont change a bit. Remember it was his idea of socialist heath care. Obama wasnt the creator of free heath care system,,Mitt Ronmey was. So what makes you think when Congress and Senate both overturn Obama care and Mitt Romney wont veto it? Of Course he will and when he does veto it its gonna be politics as usual again,,Just remember this,,I TOLD YOU SO!!!

Ok when Obama was elected did yall believe he would bring change? We all did!! And it was after a year Obama was sworn into office we all knew what he was. A BIG BULLSHITTER!!!

Absolutely not. I and many like myself didn't fall for the "Hopey Changey" BS and I'm not the least bit surprised at what he and his thugs in arms have done to dismantle this country.

The possibility had occurred to me, but I suppose it makes little difference. Many of the political comments I read could be termed argumentum ad ignorantiam, whether the motivation for those comments is deceitful or not.

My first goal here is to identify those who are going to present a reasoned and logical point of view, in order that I can ignore those who seek to "dirty up" a topic as a way of avoiding defeat in a debate. There is no point in presenting a point of view or research results to someone who cannot or will not give it honest consideration.

Thanks for the heads-up!

What I remember most is the President's promise to help fix the economy, immediately folowed by a republican chorus of "We want him to fail."

Based solely on this, I know where the real problem lies.

No offense intended, but the only way that you could believe both statements is if you were woefully ignorant of the Constitution, or the tea party . . . or both.

Rick Santelli launched the current Tea Party with his rant about the government spending to much. That was back on 2/19/2009. He also said if our forefathers could see what the government was doing they would be rolling over in their graves.

According to wiki

The Tea Party movement is an American political movement that advocates strict adherence to the United States Constitution,[1] reducing U.S. government spending and taxes,[2][3][3] and reduction of the U.S. national debt and federal budget deficit.[2] The movement is generally considered to be partly conservative,[4][5] partly libertarian,[6][7] and partly populist.[8][9][10] The movement has sponsored protests and supported political candidates since 2009.[11][12][13]
