Theresa May vowed to expel 23 Russian spies today as she laid out Britain's retaliation over the Salisbury nerve gas outrage. In the biggest diplomatic swipe for decades, the Prime Minister gave the 'undeclared intelligence agents' a week to leave the country and suspended 'all high level contact' with the country. Mrs May also paved the way for a crackdown on Russian oligarch money in London and urged the international community to join sanctions.

Britain has made a formal protest at the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, slamming Vladimir Putin's regime as 'reckless'.
The government has also called for an urgent meeting of the UN security council.

Whitehall sources said they were accelerating their offensive cyber programme and could hit select targets for a specific effect.

It is understood this could see a specialist cyber unit deployed in the UK to attack Kremlin computer networks spewing Russian propaganda and trolling factories spreading fake news.

General Sir Chris Deverell, commander of Joint Forces Command, has revealed how the UK has a specialist unit which is dedicated to 'offensive cyber' run jointly by the MoD and GCHQ.

So far it has worked on Islamic State but this could be expanded towards Russia.

He really needs to keep his felonious activities in his country where they need not be felonies.
He doesn't get to make a mess elsewhere.
It's a demonstration of the total fatuity of leaving the EU and becoming a nowhere-much making loud noises and beating its hollow chest.

They keeping him from you? Too busy with porn stars, see!
Ah okay....indeed....so going back a tad...the UK leaves the EU customs union and we all of a suden become....what....kicked out of NATO? Kicked-off the Security Council? Out of the G20...etc...etc...
Your assumption is that because we leave a trade organistation we assume a mantle of invisability?

No - just that it has nothing whatever to do with NATO, which is more a gesture at a military museum than anything relevant. If we want to commit economic suicide, too bad.

interesting... I guess you are more in the loop then...
NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said Monday the alliance is in contact with the U.K. about the nerve agent attack on a former Russian double agent, amid speculation that the alliance could invoke its collective defense clause if Russia is found responsible.
....can you let us know the outcome of the discussions following the report from the OPCW?

As opposed to what... an unco-ordinated mechanism operating on an ad hoc basis. You feel NATO is not taken seriously in the world?
If we want to commit economic suicide, too bad.
how so?
