Can someone tell me what kind of Government is Russia?

Theyre not communist anymore. I had a friend came back from Moscow told me what he saw. He saw capitalist style system there. Some people act like business stuff like selling and dealing there. He even saw people dressed like wall street executives. It sure sounds like capitalism. If Russia is a federation then it means capitalism right? So if its a capitalist style nation then why are politicians there so against America for? Even Mr Putin doesnt agree with us?

They are more akin to other European countries than anything else. They got over the sort of socialism from the Cold War era and before but they are still a little more that way than Germany say. And they say Putin is going back to a more heavy handed government than the have had.

I agree with this. Putin and many around him are old KGB guys. You can't take communism out of them. I think there is still some resentment over the cold war and being outsmarted, if only temporarily, by Reagan and Thatcher.

I tend to think Vlad and mist KGB bigwigs miss the absolute power and are sore it was on hiatus for a time.

Russia, like the USA, is totally under capitalist control, so you have the choice of saying yes sir or yes sir. Big deal!

None of them were raped in prison nether. Like you and I were if we were sent to state prison. Theres a difference between state
prisons and federal prison. You don't get raped or have someone try to stab you in federal prison. Murderers and rapists go to state prisons. Murder and rape are state crimes not federal.
