I'm confused.   Why is billions for bankers bad, if billions for auto manufacturers good?    You think anyone saw the billions spent by any of Obama's proposals?   They all went to rich CEOs of companies, regardless of method.

Further, we don't need billions to rebuild "infrastructure".    If we needed it, it would be built on the local level.   In 2007 our economy was doing very well.  By the end of 2008 our economy sucked.   Do you think infrastructure in that year and a half, all disintegrated?     Further, do you realize that a fraction of the stimiulus went to infrastructure?   Moreover, the little that did, won't even happen for several years?

The idea that infrastructure is going to improve the economy, is a joke anyway.   If your road by your home, gets repaved.... is your job going to suddenly double business?   (hint: no).    Recently, the bridge near my home got painted.   Closed down the entire 1/4 mile stretch to paint the bridge.   Then they reopened it.   Did the economy suffer while the road was closed?  No.   Did it gain a huge boost when it opened?  No.

Absolutely nothing.   I don't care what company you buy a car from.  I have a problem with our government stealing money from us to give to those care companies.    The point some people make is, there is this lame claim that the Crash-from-voters program, is going to stimulate the economy.    No it is not.  First, the number of cars purchased isn't even enough to make a dent.   Second, not all of it went to US car companies anyway.

The point being made is, people who praise their socialism with "We're going to help America!" and then use US tax money to buy from Japan, isn't going to "Help America!".

Apparently by increasing unemployment to 11% and continuing Bush policy on bailing out banks, and everyone else.

Which explains why an Ohio Aluiminum plant that supplies the US automotive industry recently closed laying off 10,000 employees, 50 Chrysler dealership closed after Chrysler which was benefitting from the program, closed their franchises from lack of sales, and a major Delco parts distributer in Ohio closed as well.

Yes, he is fixing it all!  I can see the jobs being saved!

Speaking of BS.

Do you understand how inflation works?   When the government doesn't have any money, and can't sell anymore T-bills, they print it.    Do you know what happens when government print money?

A loaf of bread now costs $25 Million Zimbabwe dollars.   Yet here in America, our government is doing the exact same thing, and we think it's great.
