This has been on the news now for several days, and there are three dead, and dozens injured. One of the issues being raised is the automatic braking system that has been installed on this track, yet not implemented. The RR says it is too expensive so Congress gave them until 2020 to fully implement it. It was supposed to be installed by 2018. Originally it was to be done by 2015.

Well, here we are now, and there are more deaths that could have been prevented. However, what has Trump proposed for the Railroad budget?
