Well these people start out well but the string if delusions (plenty of high quality food was particularly so) trips them flat on their face.
I'm curious how the recent expansionist actions of Putin are being used as a building blocks for some return to "the good old days". I read that russians are polling kore pride in mother Russia.
seems like this website could he a piece of the rebuilding puzzle.

THERE IS NO DOUBT that putin and Russia are worry about Nato on its borders. While there is good and bad about every system Russians are proud of their past. While the claims of no poverty or unemployment in the USSR are not true there was certainly less than in many other countries. Freedom of religion was not tolerated in the past USSR but may be tolerated toady in Russia unlike China or Saudi Arabia.

The capitalist system in the west does have problems. I think a form of Democratic Socialism is the answer.

Well there was no unemployment as evrryone worked for the government in principle. And as nobody but party people had money evrryone was poor and no particular poverty. Margaret Thatcher put it well "socialism is fine until you run out of other people's money". And they WILL run out. Ask Greece.
