Florida and New York have similar populations. But Florida has way more older citizens than New York. And older citizens are more likely to die from coronavirus than younger people.
Covid deaths in New York are over 24,000. And Covid deaths in Florida are about 2500. So with a.much larger population of retired older people, why dies Florida have 1/10 the death rate with a similar population?
De Blasio and Cuomo of NY have bitched and moaned and complained about the feds but doesnt the responsibility lie with NY leadership?
Think about these numbers for a minute. Florida and New York have similar populations and FL has way more older but has 10% of the deaths of NY.
DeBlasio and Cuomo should both be impeached and run out of town.

The latest covid death toll in NY state is 32,270. The latest covid death toll in Florida is 5650.
Fl has a population 2 million greater than NY with a higher percent of elderly who are more susceptible to death due to respiratory issues.
So Cuomo and Deblasio have over 30,000 deaths on their hands and a more conservative state, with more population and more elderly, has 1/6 the death toll.
And half of the death toll in Fl is in the 3 most liberal counties. And the other half of the death toll is spread out over 64 other counties.
Way to go, Cuomo and Deblasio. You guys are defunding police, putting more tax payers at risk and you have 6 times the covid death toll.
If you have the ability. I suggest you leave NY for a smaller town with more conservative leadership. Thousands of NYers have already done so. You will live longer, have a lower risk of crime and it costs way, way less to rent a place to live.

I just learned a very interesting fact about covid deaths in NY nursing homes. Andy forced nursing homes to accept covid patients and this resulted in hundreds of unnecessary deaths. To cover up for his incompetence he is now reporting nursing home deaths is such a way as to cover up his stupid decision. If you die in a nursing home it is reported. If you die on the way to the hospital it is a hospital death. This way the nursing home death toll is reduced and Andy doesn't look as guilty as he really is.
Corruption and Dems go hand in hand.
