lacking basic check-ups is the reason the us has such low population health levels (that and the obesity crisis). people get diabetes that doesn't get managed, people get cancer that doesn't get caught until it's too late, people get pneumonia, staph infections, all kinds of crap that doesn't have to kill them but sometimes does because they're afraid of not being able to pay their hospital bills.
if you don't have anything to hide, you don't have anything to worry about, right? nevermind that there is a document that is supposed to protect us from warrantless intrusions into our privacy.

the president doesn't (shouldn't) get to decide what treason is. but thanks to the bush administration, he does now! i'm not saying that bush is imprisoning bunches of innocent americans without charges, but he COULD, and that's scary as hell.
