OVERVIEW: Attorney General Eric Holder, who didn't prosecute the Black Panthers, is now doing the dirty work of Islam by suing for a Muslim woman who didn't get the leave she wanted so she could attend the hajj in Saudi Arabia.

Muslims seem to do their darnnest to continually be in the headlines. Usually to the detriment of their own positions in the secular society. IMO this is another frivolous case by an overly religious and tenacious person who if they really believed in what the claim would give up everything to complete their religious obligation. Instead this person whats financial gain from her spiritual form of thought. The case should be thrown out as part of, if nothing else, badly needed tort reform. It is silly and Holder should step down. If it goes anywhere the courts could have their hands full with demands from Catholics, Jews, Buddhists, Mormons and on and on.

I'd be interested to see if this person is a "former" Christian or Jew etc because it is almost always the converts who seem to raise hell and make life difficult for everyone else. Remember the case a few years back in Florida? When the Muslim woman demanded her drivers license photo be taken with a veil covering her face. What a row, Turns out she was a recent convert to Islam. These people, recent converts, to any religion are often over zealous and make their religion look bad. The judge should tell her to sacrifice her pilgrimage and meditate on tolerance and the future of her students. Oh and fast for a month. Let's see how religious she is then.

Silly lawsuit. Muzzies can Hajj anytime so this year is not a requirement and it is the nature of teaching that you have to be there when school is in session so the fact that it's unpaid is moot.
