If a person's name is accidentally removed when it should not have been removed, it is a very simple process to have the name restored.  If tens of thousands of names of illegitimate voters are kept on the roll for fear of making a mistake when complying with federal voter registry purging requirements, then those protecting the names of illegitimate voters are almost certainly democrats wanting to protect the bloated voting rolls for nefarious reasons.
