It seems like an onion piece.


The drug is dangerous and has some serious side effects. It clearly needs to be as regulated as much as many other drugs, that or we remove the regulation on all of them.


Furthermore, children should not be ingesting these things without their guardians supervision or for that matter a doctors.


I would think that any company that sold these to children without their guardians permission would open itself up to some pretty huge lawsuits.


Of course this could just be negotiation. The drug company asks for the drug to be OTC and then it "settles" for it to be less restricted than the alternative.
