Correct ruling indeed. If it is not against the law, than a person should not be confronted about it by the police. At best, the guy was just trying to make the point that it is not against the law where he is to open carry. At worst, the guy likes having people notice him. Nevertheless, whether or not a person "needs" a gun in a movie theater is a moot point.I do have a CCW permit and do always carry. However, I would not feel comfortable with open carry inasmuch as it announces that you are armed and that gives away an advantage if there would be a life threating situation.
