Title 9 is an important law when it comes to gender equality in sports. Tearing down the bleachers is stupid, but this is Detroit we're talking about.The thing that I find ironic is if they are truly interested in being in compliance with Title 9 then why is there a "girls field" and a "boys field"?I can understand if they need more than one field because they may have multiple games going on at the same time, but why are they gender separate?Also, why is there a boys booster club and a girls booster club knowing that one club may at any time raise more money than the other thus causing a discrepancy in equality?
