God made free will, lucifer, man and the world. We created some other things after that. That is what free will means. It means that we have the freedom to create things - thoughts, actions, inventions, ideas, etc. We even have the power to do and use those things for good or for bad. God said that we were stewards of the world and it is our responsibility to take care of it well or poorly.

Every thought you and I have is created by you and I. These thoughts do materialize out of thin air. They were not created by God but by you and I. The alternative is that our thoughts are do not arise from our own minds. That they either are pre-existing and pre-determined or that God creates them all.

You may choose to think you are a mechanism but I am a person. This is the logical conclusion of applying causation to thinking processes.
