GOP Twitter account shared an image that appeared to feature two Liberian flags on Tuesday morning alongside the message, "247 years ago, our forefathers told Ol' King George to get lost! Happy Independence Day from the GOP!"

The tweet was quickly deleted after Twitter users pointed out the mistake. While the flag of Liberia resembles the U.S. flag and features a series of red and white stripes, the flag of the West African country is distinguished by the presence of a single white star on a blue background.


Hahahaha maybe Republicans should stop obsessing about gays and try to get fundamentals right first

How does a mistake about foreign flags somehow translate in your mind to a need for Christians to stop believing the Bible and start supporting the satanic perversion of sodomy?

God did not unjustly obsess with gays but He did condemn sodomy. Christians are wise to believe God rather than men.

There is nothing patriotic about a mob of leftist protesters burning the flag outside the White House while chanting derogatory statements about God Bless America. Those looking for evidence of sedition should find this mob protest a good example.

Pathetic, right? All Republicans are therefore unpatriotic morons, right? But not all Democrats share in Biden's mistakes, which are myriad, right? I condemn such opinions as politically racist. Whereas nearly all Democrats hated nearly all blacks without just cause in past centuries, today nearly all Democrats hate nearly all Republicans and Christian conservatives without just cause. That is blind stupid political racism.
