How Democrats and Republicans conspire to keep Libertarians off the ballot

there is definitely an effort to keep all third parties off the ballot and out of power.
If a "third" party had a complete platform on every issue just like the main two parties, then that party would have more of a chance of attracting a major following.

But, none of them do.

They are all limited reactions to one or two planks they didn't like in one of the two major parties from which they defected ... and thus they understandably simply have a limited following.

Also ... once the dualism forms (Republicans v. Democrats, conservatives v. liberals, men v. women, young v. old, etc.) the magnetism of such alignments is difficult to degouse.

When a truly complete party, one that balances both security and freedom dynamically, that respects the foundational right to life, and that advocates true progress without surrendering the good we now have ... then you will see that "third" party actually take over from the other two.

With regard to libertarianism, it is merely based on the dysfunction of indiviualism and a worship of the Money System at the expense of societal ethics and morality.

Because we are moving away from dysfunction and toward health, such a political philosophy is extinctly headed in Barney's direction.

I think when you start being anti-choice you lose any chance at a third party platform. When you split that off you're really just the neo-con far right wing of the old Republican Party. I think what you describe is really just that... an extreme wing version of an already established Party.

ROTFLMAO!!! How old are you? 14? Over 80% of the people in this country have never even read and understood the Constitution. You think they've read and understood the party platforms?????? Give me a break.

They are all limited reactions to one or two planks they didn't like in one of the two major parties from which they defected ... and thus they understandably simply have a limited following.

Or they were deceived by liars in the other parties who used fearmongering to bring them "back into the fold."

Your opinion isn't an argument. Pure speculation.

Again, more speculation. You can spew all kinds of unquantifiable goobledegook all day long. It proves nothing.

I really wish you'd stop lying. Libertarianism is based on the fact that every individual on earth has an innate right to engage in any peaceful, honest, voluntary activity that he or she chooses. Government only steps in if someone uses force, fraud or coercion against another innocent individual.

We've already had this debate once. Your side lost:

What? I love you, you love me? Love isn't about threatening people with the use of force if they're behaving in a peaceful, honest, voluntary manner.

Libertarians are presently on the ballot in every state. They are not prevented from running.
They are rarely elected because people do not vote for them.

The Republican Party has no official platform as you claim and has had none for most of this century. The Libertarians have a detailed platform and you can find out all about it online.
Typically, Libertarians have managed to get around 1 to 2% of the vote for president. In 2016 they got about 3.3%. In 2020, they got about half that. Other third parties have polled lower in recent years.
