yes we should stop spending...to increase spending...cut taxes and the economy will rise...did we not hear that before....you know right before the Bush cut taxes and then we tanked even more?as a republican I am sure you have some basic understanding of buinsess, so you should know that spending does not always equal debt...you have to spend to make money sometimes. The fact we are spending now to jump start the econ, if works, could actuly bring in far more money then not spending it. Now do I think there is pork and stuff that will not help in the bill? yes, thats why both sides need to keep working on it. But spending does not always = debt...we just need to make sure its smart spending, and smart target tax cuts...becuse cutting taxes does not = less debt as well.
