Not true at all. When did I ever say that that action was more reprehensible?


That's certainly true for three of them because they were so short:

1981: Shutdown a few hours.

1984: Shutdown one day.

1990: Shutdown over Memorial day weekend (Most were off anyway)

1995-96: Shutdown 6 days. Cost $800 million in losses.


We have yet to see what the world markets think when the TP fools around with the debt ceiling.
