This post is not about the fact that Iran is a radical jihadist Islamic threat. It is about the threat from under the ground to Iran.
The country of Iran is criss-crossed with fault lines that cover virtually the entire country. And there are nuclear power plants and arms depots and missile storage all located near these fault lines.
Recently there was a magnitude 6+ earthquake near one of these power plants. And if you check earthquake.gov you will see more fair size quakes in Iran happening every month.
Our own left coast has been abnormally active lately. Everywhere from Vancouver down Cal and into Baja. And everywhere around the Pacific Rim of Fire there has been much activity. More than normal.
A few years back a neiighbor of mine moved back to her home town of Cape Girardeau, Mo. She was there only a little over a year and left. She said it gave her the willies to live on the New Madrid fault line.
The earth has been shaking more than average this year in every area with faults.
If a big one hits Iran there will likely be more quakes due to close proximity of faults to each other.
Maybe it will take only one well placed Israeli missile to collapse an entire country. No civilzed person will miss Iran. But we should be aware of the fact that radiation spreads and we have military personnel in the Middle East.
