Jeb is expected to announce his intention to run for president, tomorrow in Miami -Dade area of Florida. I hope he seriously crashes and burns so that it may serve as a warning against other people who believe being President of the United States is a family business. It takes a lot of gall to run after his dad and his brother already screwed up the country enough

I can't stand Jeb Bush! He is a democrat in sheep's clothing! He has about as much conviction as all the other rhinos that the Republican party will parade across the stage. As for being part of a dynasty, I don't care so much about that as I care about the job he is capable of doing. Bush senior didn't really "screw up the country." What he did was cave to the democrats, and raise taxes, thereby losing his base. Other than that, he didn't do much either way.

When someone thinks their name, (Clinton or Bush either one), makes them entitled, more deserving, and at all qualified to be the leader of one of the most powerful countries in the world, my bitter side hopes its worse than just not winning. I want reality shoved down their throats, (not literally).

In the end I still don't think Jeb Bush should be president for many reasons. Many of his points are invalid and most of the common people of America wouldn't agree either. I wouldn't trust another member of the Bush dynasty (who are millionaires) to become a president again, especially after Bush. And no, Jeb, Americans shouldn't work more hours.

RINO...a republican who is not a complete idiot and does what is best even if it pisses off his base...

I would say Jeb is still a good contender for the Republican party al beit the fact that I disagree with almost all his points. Then again, I'm a democrat -- not a Republican. It seems like Jeb Bush is a lot better than most of the other Republican contenders.

I agree he at least shows some brains and willingness to not bow down to tea beggars...but he is a Bush and We don't need a third Bush ( how sad is it that if he wins the nomination 3 out of the last 5 candidates would be from same family for them...sad)

NAME ONE PROMINENT POLITICIAN WHO IS NOT RICH. EVEN THE SOCIALIST, BERNIE SANDERS IS WORTH ABOUT $500,000! THAT MAY NOT SOUND LIKE MUCH, BUT IT'S A LOT FOR A SOCIALIST, AND MORE MONEY THAN I'LL EVER SEE. AND I HAVE TO SAY, I'M SURE MY MANUAL LABOR JOB IS A HELL OF A LOT HARDER THAN BERNIE SANDER'S.

to become a president again, especially after Bush. And no, Jeb, Americans shouldn't work more hours.

AS I STATED ABOVE, I CANNOT STAND JEB BUSH, OR ANY BUSH FOR THAT MATTER, BUT THE COMMENT IN QUESTION, AS I'M SURE EVERYONE KNOWS BY NOW, SIMPLY MEANT THAT AMERICANS SHOULD HAVE ACCESS TO FULL-TIME JOBS INSTEAD OF THE PART-TIME ONES SO MANY OF US HAVE NOW. IT'S BETTER NOT TO PERPETUATE HALF-TRUTHS WHENEVER POSSIBLE.

It ain't going to be him. GOP was foolish to fixate on him.
One would think after my district punted Cantor that they would come to realize that you can't ignore your base as Cantor did. Nobody likes Jeb as he is totally out of touch.

I think he made the same erroneous assumption that Hillary made: they both thought the name was all it was going to take. They probably believed whole heartedly that holding the vote was just a technicality. Luckily, their blunder hurt their chances, while giving me just enough hope to go on living.

Name recognition. Supposed to be the magic dingus. Unfortunately for them both recognizing the name also means people remember the history as well.

I was already starting to plan my witty and clever comeback when I made it to the 3rd sentence and realized you had already said the same thing I was going to say. So now I have nothing.

Sorry.
Can't believe how brain dead GOP leadership is that knowing Jebs history they were hell bent for leather to get him to run.
They just refuse to learn.
But the donkeys are no better.

I think you are referring to his cronies and his papa's cronies who put millions into Jeb's coffers before he gave an announcement to run. My impression is that his popularity wasn't widespread outside that group.
