Charlie Kirk has admitted to soliciting funds from the fossil fuel industry. He acknowledged in an interview that some donors of TPUSA “are in the fossil-fuel space.” He was a speaker at the 2017 board meeting of the National Mining Association (NMA) and the 2016 annual meeting of the Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA). The CEO and president of the IPAA, Barry Russell, is on the advisory council of TPUSA. Kirk has stated that most advisory council members contribute monetary support to the organization. A full list of TPUSA advisory council members can be found on their website.
Immediately after Donald Trump lost the 2020 presidential election, Kirk promoted false and disproven claims of fraud in the election. On November 5, 2020, Kirk was the leader of a Stop the Steal protest at the Maricopa Tabulation Center in Phoenix.
Charlie Kirk was considered a "big name" social influencer in Rudy Giuliani's communications plan to overturn the 2020 election.
On January 5, 2021, the day before the Washington, D.C., protest that led to the January 6 United States Capitol attack, Kirk wrote on Twitter that Turning Point Action and Students for Trump were sending more than 80 "buses of patriots to D.C. to fight for this president".A spokesman for Turning Point said that the groups ended up sending seven buses, not 80, with 350 students. In the lead-up to the storming, Kirk said he was "getting 500 emails a minute calling for a civil war." Publix heiress Julie Fancelli gave Charlie Kirk's organizations $1.25 million to fund the buses to the January 6 event. Kirk also paid $60,000 for Kimberly Guilfoyle to speak at the Trump rally.
Afterward, Kirk said the violent acts at the Capitol were not an insurrection and did not represent mainstream Trump supporters.
Appearing before the United States House Select Committee on the January 6 Attack, Charlie Kirk pleaded the Fifth Amendment privilege against self-incrimination. His team however "provided the committee with 8,000 pages of records in response to its requests." In another closed-door meeting of the House January 6 Committee, Ali Alexander blamed Kirk and Turning Point USA for financing the travel of demonstrators to the Stop the Steal

We can talk and debate about people active in political discourse in this country or the world. Anybody can start a thread on anybody. But to bash a man within an hour after you found out he had died is despicable. The man was murdered for his views! This is an attack on our liberty!
What made Charlie so dangerous is that he engaged those who think differently in fair debate. That frightens the shit out of these people. Charlie did not encourage Trump supporters to be hateful to anybody. That is what democrats do. He was not like Maxine Watters. He did not advocate for stopping speech. Biden did that.
