President George HW Bush ordered soliders to Somalia in December of 1992 -- right before leaving office. The Battle of Mogadishu came about in October 1993 (when Clinton was President of course) -- but I don't think he takes the blame for getting us involved -- but can certainly take some blame later on for how it was managed under his adminstration.
