Well, I was waiting for the obvious rebuttal. (Maybe no one believes it.)

"The left does care about the poor because they work hard to make sure that money from the rich is redistributed to the poor."

Then I would ask: since that strategy has not yet been enacted then logically, in the mean time wouldn't a caring person not donate from their own resources?

Then one would have to say that the strategy has been enacted. But if that is the case then why are there still poor?
