On Tuesday, Trump told reporters in the White House’s Roosevelt Room that he now plans to “let Obamacare fail. It will be a lot easier.” That way, he said, his party would bear no political responsibility for the system’s collapse.

“We’re not going to own it. I’m not going to own it,” the president said. “I can tell you the Republicans are not going to own it. We’ll let Obamacare fail, and then the Democrats are going to come to us” to fix it.

But Trump’s comments appeared to ignore the many Republican lawmakers who are anxious about depriving their constituents of federal benefits on which they now rely.

So he just walks away in a great bigly huff.... jeez.... how difficult can it be to repeal some crappy little healthcare act written by a bunch of tree hugging liberals!!

Yep. . .that is our "great negotiator!"
If I don't get my way, I'll go home and take my marble with me!

So sad and. . .ridiculous!

But Fareed Zakaria had the best commentary of all about repealing healthcare: even idiots like Trump and his followers should be able to understand that:

When the AMA buys they expect you to stay bought.
So fine let it hit the ground dead on the way down. Then deal with the 7 million (mainly indigent) left hanging.
These pols have to decide whether they represent their constituents or the AMA and pharma.

Judging by the comments from both sides they seem to for their constituents whom they represent and to whom they answer, rather than some semi-literate jingoistic rent collector.

Perhaps they think the current administration is finished therefore they are now entrenching themselves for the next one who, presumably will have put some thought into it if indeed they want it changed at all.

The senate does not care about constituants. They've demonstrated this time and again.
Their owners want the status quo.
America wants better which is why DJT is in the White House with a vastly higher favorability than they have.

Obamacare is a very slippery slope. If the gov can make you buy insurance then what else can they make you buy?
An electric car?
A solar water heater?
Vegetables?
Obamcare is a power grab by the Dems in congress. The sooner it dies the better.

You are so funny! The government can ALREADY make you buy insurance: Car insurance, for one thing!
Obamacare is not perfect. . .it is the beginning of something.
But the ONLY form of healthcare that will actually be good for everyone in America is UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE.

And it WILL come to be, whether you want it or not. If you think it is not "good" for people, how do you explain that NO COUNTRY with universal healthcare has EVER voted (or even talked about!) to repeal it!

You don't have to buy car insurance.

Which States Do Not Require Car Insurance?
  • New Hampshire: Although car insurance is not mandatory in NH, you are still responsible for damages up to $50,000 for liability and $25,000 for property damage. Expect a suspended license and registration for not being able to pay for damages of an accident you or your vehicle caused.
  • Virginia: Don't want to pay for car insurance in Virginia? You have the option to pay the state $500 annually but that would not provide any coverage. You would still be held liable if you caused an accident.
Drivers in both New Hampshire and Virginia usually opt to buy car insurance even though it is not required. The cost of car insurance is low compared to the potential loss of an at-fault car accident. The national average of uninsured motorist in 2012 was 12.6 percent according to the Insurance Information Institute.

New Hampshire was at 9.3 percent and Virginia was listed at 10.1 percent both lower than the national average.

If you don't register a car in any state and you don't have to buy insurance.

Fools comment. If you don't register it you can't legally drive it. In Iowa if you get caught driving without insurance the fine is $450.00. Here in Oregon you cannot get a drivers license without presenting an insurance card.

Get real fool. Once again you prove you don't know jack shit about anything. You just kiss ass.
