Lets start out with hobbies they tell a lot about a person.
I collect watches and turquoise jewelry, I am a avid shooter .I love shooting targets nothing like having a 1/2 inch 5 shot spread at 200 yards and hitting the target at 600 yards.
I like to watch movies and listen to music, When I was younger I was into football and lifting And motorcycles from 3 wheelers to motocross the Harleys . I love dogs .I did hike at one time in the Angeles crest mountains and in Ohio and ky.. I enjoy cooking for my sweetie,
I was a avid hunter from a young age and have taken hundreds of wild game animals . I do regret I have not got to go hunting in Africa for plains game and my dream was to hunt Dall's sheep, To old and sick for that now . I enjoy playing chess .Thats as far as I will go until some one else grows a set of balls and makes a effort.

Alright, fair enough, I’ll bite. Here goes.

I’m big into writing—poetry, prose, you name it—especially social and political stuff. Art’s another thing I love; I work in different mediums, whatever fits the mood at the time. It’s a good way to express myself when words don't cut it.

I’m a Navy vet and a proud grandpa. Got a granddaughter and grandson who light up my world, and an amazing wife who’s stuck with me through thick and thin. We’ve been through a lot together and feel pretty good about where we’ve ended up—if you know what I mean.

Years back, I studied constitutional law in Florida. Worked in wills, trusts, and estates for a bit. Not exactly riveting stuff, but it paid the bills. These days, I love jet skiing, sailing, anything that gets me out there in the water. Hiking’s a big one too.

I’ve hitchhiked across the country a few times, coast to coast and north to south, and met all kinds of people—mostly good. Even hopped a few trains along the way, spending time with folks living on the tracks and out in the woods. Some of them were the most beautiful souls I’ve ever met.

So yeah, that’s me. Thanks to “the annoying thing” for kicking this off. Let’s see who else jumps in. Later.

Well one thing is for sure you don't sound like a gun decker ,lol. What kind of art are you into . I have never hitched much except when real young . I have driven cross country by car and motorcycle .
Hery some stories on the people you met when jumping trains would be interesting .

Would I be correct in assuming your more of old school liberal or middle of the road .
You sound like you might be concerned a man who has concerns about wild life fish habit etc .So you know I do maybe for different reasons but same outcome in the end with minor concessions..

Yep. You could say I am old school liberal. Like Haight-Ashbury liberal. Or just hippy would work. Sure, I'd be happy to tell some about jumpin trains from east to west coast and middle of the road from hot shots to milk runs. But its late now and these old bones need rest so I will pick up tomorrow on the tall tales or should I say rails. Nice talkin to ya. Oh and yes I do concern myself with things like wildlife and so forth.

Your me 45 yers ago lol . I was a old school democrat at one time .

I have been there years ago but it was different early 2000 .
O man. That was when pink floyd, santana, black sabbath, blue oyster cult, led zeppelin, the stones, dep purple and the who were rockin. I saw the black and blue concert in oakland in 84 and blue oyster cult in 80. It was dynamite. I don't mean early 2000. I mean the 70s on. Hung out with some hare krishna crazies for a while also. That was real weird. Then moved on and caught a train to Bar Harbor, Maine. Well several trains actually. One hot shot out of LA then a another over to the santa fe and later out of Texas an atsf straight north. I joined the navy not long after that in 1974.

I was there working we had labs and contracts with Laurence Livermore labs and myself and another guy were sent to open up a branch in Frisco. That's when I did my sightseeing.

I have worked on the shuttle program the eelv and several small satellite programs .
I know the fbi checked me out in person . And at times getting to a work site was a pain when9 11 happened I was working on the eelv program , To make a long story short I had a company heavy truck with no radio . when I got back on base there were 50 csl machine guns set up and the security were carrying machine guns . it ttok forever to get on site . Lawrence Livermore. Was a real pain we were checked before we went there but still it was a pain.
