Looks like my groupie is back, tossing around the usual wishful one-liners and telling me what not to discuss. Isn't he cute?

Back to the subject:
The problem isn't going to get any better until we start paying off the National Debt. The Republicans have already compromised away almost all methods of doing so. When can we expect the Democrats to do even a little bit of compromising of their own? Dropping their insistence on RAISING tax rates would be a good start, though only a start. Expressin support for the Republicans' Balanced-Budget amendment would be good, too, though it wouldn't go into effect for many years and does nothing for actually paying off any part of the National Debt. Again, it would be a start, however small.

When can we expect Democrats to do even a little compromising, as Republicans have?
