Ditto. Well, that's probably the last thing we'll agree on. Lol.
Ocean, you need to understand that if you have never lived in a predominantly black area, that you don't know how it is. If you do know, then say so. Peace and Love were't just words, they were a sincere dream for a new reality. Am I bitter because it wasn't appreciated. Yeah, I am. Ain't perfect.
And I'm sorry, but events in my old area, in the state that I was born in, and events in the nation since that time, show that blacks stand up only for their own. I'm not orchestrating that. If you can come up with something that disproves that, I will concede gladly. Does that mean they are all militant? No. Does it mean they HATE whites, not necessarily. It means that they are concerned only with things that benefit them as a race. Do you know the percentage of blacks that voted for the FIRST time in their lives, despite being able to do so for many elections? Racism isn't necessarily about hatred. It's can also be about concern only for one's own race. That qualifies as racism. I think blacks as a race are more racist than whites. I didn't do it. But I'm getting sick and tired of the P.C. crap that says I have to turn a blind eye to it. If it isn't O.k. for me, then despite whatever happened to any black person in the history of the country, it isn't O.K. for them either.
The biggest difference between the races is that whites will and DID stand up for minorities in this country. Can you tell me when and where that has been or is being reciprocated as a race? Racism isn't only words. It's also silence.
