Obama is checking whether congressional dems will approve the appointment of Eric Holder for attorney general. Remember Marc Rich? He was one of the whole raft of criminals and scumbags Bubba Clinton pardoned just before leaving office. In the case of Marc Rich, he did so on the advice of Holder, Bubba's assistant attorney general. In case you don't know, Rich was charged back in the early 1980s by then new york state attorney general Rudolph Guilianni with tax evasion and illegal trading with the islamofascists in Iran. Rich holed up in switzerland for 18 years. Bubba sprung him at the last minute because of his huge contributions to the democrat party, and the clinton presidential library.

Yaaaaa - the Botmeister - a NEW :)D) kind of politician.

Well Biden said he was clean and articulate, so I guess we will have to settle for that as change in the democrat party 

But seriously, I am sure he does have change in mind, but its change I am dreading like fairness doctoring, higher taxes, more government burdens on the backs of Americans.

There were many nightmarish events by the justice department during the clinton administration when Holder was deputy attorney general:

- The pardon of weather underground terrorists, including Lisa Rosenberg. from wiki:

Susan Lisa Rosenberg (born 1955) is an American radical who drove the getaway car in the Brinks robbery (1981) in which two police officers and an armored-car guard were killed.[1] After living as a fugitive for two years, she was arrested with an accomplice in 1984 while unloading 740 pounds of dynamite and weapons from a car into a New Jersey storage locker. She had also been sought as an accomplice in the 1979 prison escape of Joanne Chesimard.[2] Rosenberg was sentenced to 58 years in prison on the weapons and explosives charges, but was not tried for the Brinks robbery and deaths. She was pardoned by President Bill Clinton on January 20, 2001, his final day in office.[3]

- The pre-dawn Gestapo-like raid by over 100 jackbooted heavily armed feds for the purpose of capturing a six year old boy whose mother died getting him out of the cuban hellhole, so he could be sent back.

- The Ruby Ridge sniper assassinations by justice department feds.

Journalists worthy of the name would investigate any Holder involvement in these horrible events - but watch: the same lib media which sent "reporters" all the way to Palin's hometown in alaska to run around in the snow trying to turn up gossip about her will be totally uninterested - just like they were with obama.

Yeah.....what we need is another TheocroCleric like John Asscroft....or, another lawyer, like Alberto Gonzales, who's never been any kind o' litigant; merely someone's personal-lawyer.

If I was a "conservative", I'd be a little worried about a real lawman occupying the AG's office, again, as well. You folks have a lot to answer-for.

Eric vs. Alberto

The worst justice department person the republicans ever appointed is LIGHT YEARS better than the fascist dyke Janet Reno, who implemented Bubba Clinton's plan of showing minority religious people, rural people, and anti-communist cuban americans there was a new lib sherriff in town, by sending her thugs across the country to assassinate, stage military assaults, and make naziesque midnight raids on people sleeping in their beds.

Oh, gee.....you must be referring to Ruby Ridge & Waco.....

"......the GOP attempt to revive Waco will not only wind up absolving Janet Reno once and for all, but will also raise questions about then-FBI director (and Reagan appointee) William Sessions and his strategy -- which was very similar to the disastrous path he took with the Weaver family at Ruby Ridge during the Bush administration.

Wanna try, again?

You mean....like.....John Mitchell?

Not to worry.....everything's O.K. with Bill. :p

"....the former president agreed to a thorough vetting, and Obama advisers did not back away from reports that the New York senator was the president-elect's top pick. On Thursday night, aides said that the vetting issues have been resolved, and the selection could occur soon, perhaps immediately after Thanksgiving."
