yes, and they paid...or do you think those in public office should be punished for the fact they hold public office and not given the same treatment? If you can show that they did it on purpose...then fine go after them, but tax mistakes are easy to make, as the tax code is to complicated. Fact is most tax preparers don't' even fully understand it, let alone anyone else. I have made mistakes , most I know have on taxes...on average most actually cost the taxpayer not the government, but it goes both ways.

And keep in mind I did not attack Palin for her tax issue as well.
