I see it totally differently. All the soldiers that I know personally, are exactly the opposite. The warriors are usually the last ones to want to go to war again. This is especially true of those that have been captured and tortured.
A person who has suffered and knows what it is like will always be more understanding than those who have not. McCain is not a very good speaker and his messed up bones make him stand, walk and sit "oddly" and gives him a strange look. His heart is full and in the right place. He is a straight shooter and honest.
I can't believe you are damning McCain for serving his country! This blows my mind. He ruins his health. Gives up years of his life. Puts his very life ont he line and you damn him?
It reminds me of my husband's ex. He worked many, many hours for years in order to give her the "things" she wanted. She stayed home. He missed vacations. Holidays. Not because he didn't want to get a break or take vacation, he loves them. It was so he could give her the house, cars, vacations, jewelry, etc. that she wanted. Then when they divorced, she brain washed the kids that he was a "bad father" because he wasn't home very much!!!
McCain did what was REQUIRED of him by the GOVERNMENT. He didn't create the war. He didn't ask to be shot down. He didn't create the bombs. He followed the Governments ORDERS. It wasn't up for debate. He gave you your rights to be on here bashing his PATRIOTIC SERVICE.
What have you done for the Nation? Anything?
